"Paws of Joy" - A Heartwarming Encounter Between Disabled Children and Rescued Dogs


"Paws of Joy" was a heart-touching initiative organized by Paw People in collaboration with Arushi NGO. The project aimed to bridge the gap between two diverse yet equally deserving communities – disabled children and rescued dogs. It sought to create an environment of love, compassion, and joy, where both groups could learn from and inspire each other.


Project Goals:

  1. To provide a unique and enriching experience for disabled children from Arushi NGO.

  2. To promote empathy, understanding, and inclusion among children and dogs.

  3. To showcase the therapeutic benefits of animal-assisted interactions.


Project Details:

  • Date: 23rd August 2023

  • Location: Paw People Recovery Centre, Neelbadh, Bhopal

  • Participants: Special needs children from Arushi NGO and their teaches along team Paw People anre our rescued dogs



Activities

  • Interactive sessions: Children had the opportunity to interact, pet, and play with the rescued dogs.

  • Storytelling: Stories about the resilience and journeys of both the children and the dogs were shared.



Project Impact

  1. Joy and Laughter: The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and a sense of pure joy. Children and dogs formed instant connections, sharing moments of happiness that transcended their differences.
