This case study chronicles the story of Champa, a female puppy with a life-threatening condition, who was rescued from 40 kilometers away, offering her a second chance at life.

Initial Challenges

Champa's story began with an alarming discovery. She was found by a dedicated volunteer a staggering 40 kilometers away from the city. Her condition was dire; her belly was grotesquely enlarged, leaving her in tremendous pain and discomfort.

Rescue and Admission

In a heroic act of compassion, the volunteer rescued Champa and brought her to the Paw People Foundation's Recovery Centre in Bhopal. This marked the beginning of Champa's remarkable journey of recovery and healing.
