About the Role
Are you ready to capture tails of hope, resilience, and wagging joy? If you have a passion for photography and a soft spot for our furry friends, we've got the paw-fect opportunity for you! Join our team at Paw People Welfare Foundation as a Part-Time Photography Volunteer and help us shine a spotlight on the incredible journeys of street dogs we rescue, heal, and rehome. As a Part-Time Photography Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in telling the heartwarming stories of the dogs we rescue and the incredible community events we organize. Your camera lens will be a powerful tool to inspire change and highlight the beauty in every wag, whisker, and wet nose.
Responsibilities:
Event Coverage: Attend our community events, adoption drives, and fundraisers to capture candid moments, pet adoptions, and the joyous interactions between dogs and humans.
Doggy Photoshoots: Create captivating portraits of our rescued dogs, showcasing their unique personalities and capturing the journey from street to forever home.
Photo Editing: Enhance and edit photos to ensure they tell a compelling story and are ready for sharing on our website, social media, and promotional materials.
Collaboration: Work closely with our social media team to provide high-quality visuals that engage our audience and raise awareness about our cause.
Flexibility: We understand you have other commitments, so we offer flexible hours that fit your schedule. Availability during weekends and evenings for events is a plus.
Qualifications
Passion for animal welfare and a genuine love for rescued dogs.
A basic understanding of photography principles and equipment (DSLR/iPhone or equivalent).
Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
A creative eye for capturing heartwarming moments.
Reliable transportation to attend events.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
